Two charged over KFC robbery in Darwin

Two men have been charged over the robbery of a fast food outlet at Coconut Grove in Darwin last week.

One of the men, Maxamilian Courtland Tippett, 24, has been charged with the aggravated robbery of a KFC outlet last Wednesday.

He was arrested yesterday and faced the Darwin Magistrates Court today.

The prosecutor alleged he was armed with a knife and stole $3,100.

He was remanded in custody and will appear in court next week for a bail application.

The second man, Neil Moseley, was arrested last Thursday by police in Katherine.

The 34-year-old is in custody and will appear in court next month.
