Franklyn Scholar bans crime in Tasmania

Ban Crime is a well known and respected training program designed by ex police officer, Mike Murtagh. The four hour session teaches staff how to lessen the physical and psychological risk to themselves as well as customers in the event of an armed robbery. The short course also enables staff to positively assist the police with information and allow them to provide essential follow up action after the crime.
“The risk of armed robbery is now so prevalent that it’s a justifiable concern for many business owners and staff,” Mike Murtagh said
“The armed robbery survival course gives participants specific skills to mitigate danger and provide police with the type of information that will allow them the best chance of catching the offenders”.

Franklyn Scholar facilitated the first session in Hobart earlier this week for TOTE Tasmania employees receiving praise from Regional Manager, Mark Blair “The training was well delivered and received and the efforts; in terms of time, involvement and participation; were fantastic.”

The program has been so well received that the Tasmanian police department are actively endorsing the program on behalf of Franklyn Scholar.
“The session could not have been timed any better. Security is very much front of mind with everyone at the minute with the high number of hold ups recently. Thank you for all your efforts” said Blair.

The sessions are applicable to all industry types and if you can see the benefits of undertaking this program in your business, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
