FBI releases photo of man wanted in 2 bank robberies

The FBI has released photos of a man believed to have robbed a U.S. Bank branch today and another bank on Friday.

The first robbery happened Nov. 23 at a Bank of America branch located at 4500 W. North Ave., officials said.

The robber was described as a black man in his mid 20s, between 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, the FBI said. He was last seen wearing a hat, a white shirt, sunglasses and jeans.

Officials believe the same man also robbed a US bank branch today. That bank is located at 2012 W. Chicago Ave., the FBI said.

Anyone with information identifying the robber should contact the FBI Chicago office at (312) 421-6700.

The FBI is offering an reward for information leading to the capture and conviction of the robber.
