Armed robbery at Warana

POLICE are investigating an armed robbery of a Warana 7 Eleven service station this morning.

Shortly after 2am, a man entered the Nicklin Way business allegedly armed with a firearm and making demands for cash.

The 30-year-old male attendant complied handing over a sum cash before the man fled and was last seen heading west on Lake Kawana Boulevard.

The attendant was not physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as being about 175cm tall and with a slim build. He was wearing blue jeans, a white hooded jumper and his face was covered with cloth.

Police investigations are continuing.
